the macau trip
|
|
a short trip to macau for a workplan seminar.
freezin cold,it was 4 degrees when we arrived at the airport,poor guys like myself and some of us who thought they were joking about putting on gloves and thermal suit and so on.damn,it was really cold.
it was an exciting trip,we laughed a lot,i guessed we were happy.a bunch of guys and girls happy about work,yeah maybe.
so boss,when is the next trip?and may i suggest hawaii?

ghost.strange phenomena.the unknown.the unexplained.
anyway,i got a close encounter,a brush or probably a sign at tuol sleng genocide museum.phnom penh on the 1st of april 2007.
it wasn't a camera trick,i didn't edit or alter it.and when i took that pic,there wasn't anybody around except for Marlia,who stepped out to another room when i took the picture.
the first one that i took(that got the 'ghost' behind me),i wasn't really happy with the shot as there was a reflection of the flash on the glass.so i took a second one,i moved to the side so there was i,no flash on the pic.
i didn't knew there was something in the pic,until we were at Saigon,in the hotel,just after midnight,i viewed the pics on my digicam,and was so shocked to see that,and shortly after,there was a power trip throughout Saigon.Phew,was i scared shitless.
so whatever is in the picture,is something i should share with all of you,enjoy!

the phnom penh-siem reap-saigon journey in colour

|
one of the most exciting trip of all time.on a tight budget and we decided not to travel far.Marlia couldn't get her leave approved as the date drew nearer and i couldn't postpone my leave.but however,everything was as planned.we left changi on a beautiful saturday morning and
when we reached Pochentong,we were greeted by good old David,and of course without him we will be totally lost.
we've seen so many things and enjoy ourselves along the way-from phnom penh to siem reap to saigon,from one place to another on bus rides,although tiring but i do hope we could go back there again someday.

it has always been a dream,to try climbing those freaky walls.the first i tried,was when those speed climbers asked whether i wanna try that 20 metres wall at downtown east years back and i took that challenge without thinking,and dude,when i reached the top,damn was i scared shitless.
last week,we went on a trip down rangoon rd.got this cool old house and the interior converted into a rock wall gym and it's called climb asia.pretty cool place with its banana plantation backyard.five of us were coached by the humblest coolest rockwall dude,ben.and of course,besides the constant laughter,we sure did had the bestest time.and as most of us can't fit into those climbing shoes there,mimi had the most expensive pair,probably in the whole rangoon rd that day!AM I ON BELAY??

the sunday trip up to kolumpo!

got a sunday off,she bought a pair of bus tix to kolumpo days before.got up real early that sunday morning,rode my italian stallion to marlia's place.her dad and mum sent us on their green picanto to golden mile tower,boarded the bus and left town around 7.30am,reached kolumpo at noon,both totally knocked out during the ride,greeted by kl's infamous traffic jam,got shocked no bus returning to singapura that evening,bought tix back to larkin.went down to petaling street,klcc,bukit bintang,shopping and walking around,not exactly a beautiful day,was grey and drizzling,and after all that bargainings and laughing and enjoying ourselves together,we hopped onto the 11pm express bus to larkin,switched to a cab and another cab to cross the causeway and finally back home.
